public irc, running ergo. connect to:

the password above is the server's shared connect password (irc PASS), not a per-account password - it just keeps the laziest bots out, nothing more. anyone who has it can connect.

accounts are open too: once connected,

/REGISTER <email> <password>

gets you a real nickserv account if you want one, but you don't need one just to talk.
